How can I upgrade my account storage/fax/features?

How do I view/update my billing information?

I just signed up for a Dashboard, how do I get the software?

Shortly after signing up for your account, an email will be sent to the email address used to sign-up for your account.  The Welcome Email contains a link to the latest version download and the registration information needed to complete the install.

How can I make sure I have the most up to date version of Dashboard?

From the Help menu click on “Check for Updates”. If there is an update, it will download and notify you to install. Once downloaded, from the Help menu, click “Install Updates”.

What if I forgot my password?

Open Dashboard, click on the “Forgot Password” button, enter your email address and click ok. Your password will be emailed to you. If you don’t remember which email address you used to sign up for your account, please contact GoPaperless Support at 858-429-7999 or support@gopaperless.com
Installation

I just signed up for a Dashboard, how do I get the software?

Shortly after signing up for your account, an email will be sent to the email address used to sign-up for your account.  The Welcome Email contains a link to the latest version download and the registration information needed to complete the install.

I have received my Welcome email and have started the installation. What’s next?

If have received your welcome email and you are installing Dashboard for the first time, be sure to choose “Existing User” when prompted during the installation. Copy/paste in your registration code from the welcome email (be sure there are no spaces).

Do I need a tablet pc to use Dashboard?

Dashboard can be installed on any Windows operating system pc and you will have access to all features and functionality except the ability to handwrite on documents, for which you will need a tablet pc.

Can I install Dashboard on my MAC?

Currently, you can’t install Dashboard on the MAC operating system but you can install Dashboard on a MAC using a virtual Windows program like Fusions or Parallels.

Can I download a trial of Dashboard?

Yes, clicking here will take you to the trial download form. You will be emailed a download link. Run the installation as a “new user” when prompted and you will have 30 days to use all features except electronic fax.
Online Vault Questions

Can I use my tablet to send a handwritten and typed email?

Yes, you can write a message and you can type a message in text mode. The handwritten message will be on top followed by the text body of the email.

Can I have all emails I send from Dashboard go to my email address?

Yes, you can BCC yourself on all sent emails from the tools/options menu and select the box “send a copy of outgoing emails to myself”.

How do I send a fax from my Dashboard?

a. Locate the document that you would like to fax. Right click the document and select Send To / Fax Recipient. In the To field, enter (1)and the area code (i.e. 1888555000). Click Send icon to send fax. b. You can also open a document for review, then click the fax icon, enter the fax number and click send. Be sure to allow a few minutes for Dashboard to send the fax before you close the program. c. You can also send a fax from the email address on your account by attaching the document to a regular email and sending to 11digitNumber@myredfax.com (1+area code+7 digit number)

What can I do with the Online Vault?

Currently, you can give anyone access and they will be able to view, download as a pdf and upload pdf files into your Vault. When a file is uploaded, you will receive a notification that someone has uploaded a file into your dropbox folder.

How can I give a client access to my Online Vault?

You will need to first create a contact for your client in RED.  Your contact should contain a first/last name and a valid email address to configure online vault access.  On the contact card, click on the “Vault Access” tab and enable “Vault Access” by clicking the checkbox.  You will then have to assign a password for your online vault access and click the “Send Welcome Email” button. Now click the “Modify Files/Folders” button and check the box next to the folder and/or files to which you want to give access. Use this same page to disable access.

How can I access my vault files online from another pc?

You will need to first create a contact for yourself in RED.  Your contact should contain a first/last name and a valid email address to configure online vault access.  On the contact card, click on the “Vault Access” tab and enable “Vault Access” by clicking the checkbox.  You will then have to assign a password for your online vault access.  Now that you have entered a password, you can give yourself root access to your Vault by clicking the “Modify Files/Folders” button and check the box next to the Vault folder.

Are electronic signatures legal and secure?

a. Yes, both handwritten electronic signatures and digital signatures are accepted throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries. The ESIGN and UETA Acts are legislative standards put in place to recognize and enforce contracts, signatures and records created by electronic means. Electronic signatures have become the norm for retail purchases, shipping packages, and online agreements. Now electronic signatures have made the Real Estate transaction paperless by providing an alternative to the print/scan/fax paper shuffle. b. Dashboard utilizes several security protocols and encryption methods to deliver tamper proof signed contracts. Dashboard allows users to collect electronic signatures in a manner that provides a superior level of security and a significant reduction in risk compared to the traditional paper and ink method. Digital document management limits the exposure to fraud, error and loss that have plagued real estate brokers and agents who rely on paper transaction files – and their numerous photocopies.
Vault Document Management

How do I capture electronic signatures using Dashboard?

Dashboard installed on a tablet pc provides a method of securely capturing legally binding biometric handwritten electronic signatures on any document, form or contract while you are in front of your client. If you are not in front of your client, Dashboard is integrated with eSignOnline which allows you to prepare any number of documents for electronic signature via email and your clients don’t need any special hardware. Can I email multiple files from Dashboard?

Yes, you can hold the control key and select single click each document, right lick for the send to menu. Sending multiple documents will take longer to send so wait until you get the confirmation message that your email will send before you close Dashboard.

How can I send an email from my Dashboard?

You can right click any document and choose the send to/email recipient option. Alternatively, you can email any open document by clicking the email icon in the toolbar.

What can I do with the Online Vault?

How do I write on a document? Can I fill out a form using Dashboard?

To ink on a document, simply open the document and write on it with your stylus pen. You can erase markups unless you have saved them in which case you can’t remove annotations but you can add more. You can fill out forms using the text tool in Dashboard. Just open the document and click on the new text item icon, double click the text field, type in your text and click save. You can drag the text field anywhere on the form and you can edit the field’s width and height by dragging its edges.

How do I export documents out of my Vault?

You can either download your documents as a pdf from any computer by using the Online Vault or you can save your Dashboard Vault file to your desktop. To export a document, locate the document in your vault, right-click, Send To, select Desktop, browse to a folder, click save (you can also use the “save to desktop” icon).

How do I import documents into my Vault?

There are two ways you can import documents into Dashboard. Option 1: Open Dashboard, click File, Import File, browse to file, single-click to select file, Click the Import button when prompted to import (you can also use the import icon). Option 2: Drag and drop documents into your dashboard. This method requires that the document folder and your dashboard both be visible. You will have to manage your windows accordingly.

How do I manage folders in the Vault?

To create a new folder, click on the New Folder Icon. You can create subfolders in a parent/child relationship. You can rename folders and drag/drop just like in Windows Explorer.
